Obama Bollywood!

Normally, I don't go in for the slew of home-made campaign videos. I don't think Obama-girl is funny. (I actually think it trivializes what he's trying to do in this election.) I don't think Super Obama Girl is funny, either. To be fair, I have little use for Farting Clinton, either. (You can search for those guys on youtube for yourself.)

But this video... well... this video is something different.

I actually really like this video. I don't feel like it trivializes Clinton or mocks Bollywood films for not being American. I feel like it uses their cinematic styles and uses him as a lead singer for this video, but doesn't make a particular political statement. (I think that this would be equally funny with any other celebrity - Jon Stewart Bollywood, Stephen Colbert Bollywood, Superman Bollywood. Any of those would work.) Since this video editor isn't making comment on either the film style or the subject, there's a noticeable lack of cynicism here and I really dig that.

I actually think it's quite joyful and fun.

With that intro, I give you, "Obama Bollywood!"



Oh Obama Bollywood, you had me at the colorfully decorated elephants!
